SIGNED and inscribed by the author on the title page: "For Fred Hunter with best wishes William Burroughs" (Hunter, who helped start the spoken word label Stream Records in the late sixties, first met Burroughs in 1963 at one of Jonathan Williams's parties in Hampstead).


The second in the cut-up trilogy, originally entitled "Word Falling - Photo Falling", with Burroughs utilising the fold-in method (an extension of the cut-up method) and Gysin's system of permutations.


Top edge slightly dusty; two very faint horizontal creases to upper wrapper, o/w Very Good plus in slightly rubbed and creased Very Good dw., with red lettering on the spine unfaded. (M&M A6a).
