Broadside flyer announcing a concert held at Town Hall, 123 West 43rd St., NYC, on June 10, 1968. Offset litho, printed on both sides in black on white stock. 43.3x21.5cm. The design by Jim McWilliams reproduces on one side a collage featuring a semi-naked Charlotte Moorman amidst classical nudes by Le Seuer, Ingres, Beardsley and Paik, and on the other, press cuttings relating to her arrest in 1967. The concert, which included performances of work by John Cage, Allan Kaprow, Takahisa Kosugi, and Philip Corner, was a benefit for Moorman's legal expenses following her conviction for performing Paik's 'Opera Sextronique' partially naked, and featured guest artists Allan Kaprow, Jonas Mekas, Jim Tenney, Emmett Williams, and Byongki Hwang. Fine.
