Broadsheet newspaper (8pp.). Texts predominmantly in English, with some in French and Dutch. Published to coincide with the exhibition of paintings, drawings, sculptures and New Babylon constructions by Constant Nieuwenhuys at the Venice Biennale, and illustrated with photographs and drawings, including a colour centrefold reproducing a detail from 'New Babylon/Den Haag', a watercolour on map by Constant (1964). Contents include an essay by Simon Vinkenoog on 'Life in New-Babylon'; a collection of texts by Constant, including 'The Revolution of Creative Man' (1964): "The international phenomenon of young people who refuse to accept the existing order - the 'hipsters', 'teddy boys', 'rockers', 'mods', 'halbstarken', 'blousons noirs', 'beatniks', 'nozems', stilyagi', or whatever they may be called - this phenomenon has a revolutionary effect which, so far, has been neglected…Yet this urge can be contained no longer"; and 'La Déclaration d'Amsterdam', Constant and Guy Debord's joint manifesto on unitary urbanism, first published in Internationale Situationniste #2 (December 1958).
