Original silkscreen poster, printed in dark green on thin, tan-coloured paper, with small stamp of the Écoles des Beaux-Arts in lower right corner. 64.7x50cm. Image depicts a large clenched fist raised in solidarity above a factory smokestack and saw-toothed roof. Both the slogan ('The Struggle Continues') and the graphic recur in variant designs in a number of other posters, most of which were printed in what became known as the Atelier Populaire in the occupied lithography studios of the École des Beaux-Arts, Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Two closed 4cm. tears, and one small loss, to left edge; one 2cm. closed tear to right edge; tiny pinholes to corners and two small tape 'ghost' marks to lower corners; light handling wear and overall age-toning, o/w a Very Good copy of one of the studio's most emblematic poster designs.
