An 'Adult' exploitation mag cashing in on the current vogue for the occult - "the three greatest recent social phenomena are 'Deep Throat', Watergate and 'The Exorcist'. In basic terms these represent: sex, politics and the devil." Features lengthy articles on witchcraft, demonic possession (incubi and succubi), and exorcism, plus the 15pp. cover feature, "Satan Speaks: A Talk to Novices of the Satanic Church, San Francisco by High Priest Anton Szandor La Vey". Cover slightly rubbed, o/w Very Good plus, at least.


Together with: "The Faculty and the Devil…Black Magic at UC", a front page news story on Anton LaVey and his Black House in San Francisco by editor John Raymond, in BERKELEY CITIZEN #40 (January 13th, 1967). Tabloid newspaper format. Illustrated with two photographs. Also: ads. for the Print Mint and the recently opened, original Peet's Coffee store in Berkeley. Old central horizontal fold; newsprint paper fragile and slightly edge-worn; Good plus.
