A small poster announcing Henry Cow at Kensington Town Hall, November 17th (1972), the third in their Cabaret Voltaire series of concerts held at the venue.

Offset litho, printed in black on buff colour paper. 44x33.3cm. Artist unknown. Lists support from Jack Monk, Lady June (who has highlighted her name on this copy in red), Tony Wilkes, Ray Smith (the cover artist for Henry Cow's first album), Anthony Marshall, and Dave Stewart (formerly of Egg, and later, Hatfield and the North). In spite of their avowedly anti-commercial attitude, the attention received in the rock press from these concerts led to Henry Cow signing a contract with Virgin Records. Faint traces of old blu tack to corners of verso, o/w Near Fine. Provenance: Lady June (June Campbell Cramer).
