Oswald Self-Portrait in Red.

Np: Eyewitness Records, 1964. LP record (EW-1001). Disc excellent in Very Good plus sleeve.

"This Album contains the authentic, full, unedited recording of the now famous 'Conversation Carte Blanche' interview, originally broadcast live on Radio Station WDSU in New Orleans, just a few weeks before President Kennedy's assassination" (sleeve notes).

Carlos Bringuier, New Orleans delegate of the Cuban Student Directorate (who had recently engaged in a street scuffle with Oswald) was present to debate Oswald for this radio show, broadcast on August 21st, 1963. Also present was Edward Butler of the Information Council of the Americas (INCA), and it was this programme that 'exposed' Oswald as a defector to the Soviet Union and a Marxist.
