Its back cover announces the Semiotext(e)-sponsored Colloquium on Schizo-Culture, a controversial three-day conference on prisons and madness held at Columbia in November 1975 that brought together Gilles Deleuze, Michel Foucault, Jean-François Lyotard, John Cage, William Burroughs, Kathy Acker, Judy Clark, and Ti-Grace Atkinson, among others.
