THE SOUND OF PORRIDGE BUBBLING.

LA/NY: Dais Records, 2009. LP record (DAIS 008). Cover art by Genesis P-Orridge ('Mum & Dad Collage', 1971). COUM's first studio recordings, dating from 1971, the master tapes of which were sent to John Peel (with 'COUM Guarantees Disappointment' stickers) in the hope that he would broadcast them (his producer hated them and they were returned).

"We played electric violin through effects whilst Haydn Robb played his bass, Spydee Gasmantel 3rd did his spoken word piece, Nude Supper [a reading from 'Naked Lunch'], Ray Harvey sings one of his amazing songs and Pinglewad plays some guitar. The rest was our free for all with whatever was around" (from P-Orridge's liner notes).

Disc Mint in sleeve (small corner bumps), with printed insert sheet, as issued. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies.
