A very early handbill announcing The Heart Breakers (sic) for two nights at Phase 5, Elmwood Park, New Jersey. No date (1975).

Printed offset litho in black on off-white stock. 21.6x28cm.

The Heartbreakers formed in New York in May 1975 after Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan quit The New York Dolls in the same week that Richard Hell left Television. Their first gig took place in Queens on 31st May, and these two nights in Elmwood Park probably followed soon afterwards and possibly preceded the addition of Walter Lure to the lineup (the handbill suggests that "If you like the New York Dolls you'll love the Heart Breakers").

Slight foxing along left edge, and minor handling wear. Overall, Very Good plus.
