Letts assembled his film from Super 8 camera footage shot by him during the early days of the punk rock movement, most of it from the 100 days in 1977 in which punk acts were featured at The Roxy Club, among them The Clash, The Slits, Siouxsie & The Banshees, X-Ray Spex, Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers, Generation X, Wayne County and The Electric Chairs, and Alternative TV, plus footage of the Sex Pistols from The Screen On The Green in Islington, Sid Vicious's first public performance with the band.
