Photographer's stamp to versos. Four of the shots include John Cale (one of them with Lenny Kaye), who joined the band on bass for the encore ('My Generation'). The show was recorded and released as a bootleg, 'Teenage Perversity and Ships in the Night', considered to be one of Patti Smith's finest live recordings. Near Fine.

David Arnoff's photographs have been published in numerous music magazines, including New York Rocker, Slash, Punk, Back Door Man, NME, Sounds, Trouser Press, as well as the LA Times. His work has also appeared on several album covers, notably the Cramps' debut, 'Songs the Lord Taught Us' (1980), and a collection of his work, 'Shot In The Dark', was published in 2015.
