Edited by Michael Kustow and designed by Julia Stone. The catalogue to the first major international exhibition of comics held in Britain. Includes "Batpoem" by Adrian Henri; panels by Robert Crumb, John Fawcett and Greg Irons (alongside mainstream comic artists); a centrespread text by Dennis Gifford; Robert Warshow (on Krazy Kat); and a piece by Adrian Mitchell.

The wide-ranging exhibition included original artwork, vintage back issues, magic lantern shows, dolls, lunchtime theatricals and films, as well as work created specially for it by Bruce Lacey and Adrian Henri. Underground artists who featured in the exhibition, and mentioned in the checklist, include R. Crumb, John Fawcett, Greg Irons, Spain Rodriguez, Gary Grimshaw, Gilbert Shelton, Larry Welz, and Vaughn Bodé.
