Cohn's peerless and influential documentary history, mixing social commentary and cultural criticism. Top corner of front free endpaper clipped, o/w Very Good plus in chipped dustwrapper, especially along top edge of upper panel, with closed tear to bottom edge, wear to head of spine panel and closed tear to top edge of lower panel. The front and rear flaps have been quite severely clipped. A rare title in any condition (many of those that have surfaced over the years have been either withdrawn or liberated library copies).
