Tall narrow 4to. Stapled wrps., 21pp. + insert. Ed. Gerard Bron; Frits Jacobsen; Henk J. Marsman; and Gerard Stigter.

Includes "Introduction" by Piero Heliczer ("…my name is pierro heliczer proof of birth is last day of spring 1937 [actually I was almost not born but dead] and I have been spending the rest of the time shaking it off… "), and a double page insert, not listed on the contents page, printing two poems by him, "FVGA xiii" and "Girl Body".

The other contributors (texts mostly in Dutch) include R. Hendriksen; e.e. cummings; Kurt Schwitters; Karl Schippers; Ph. Mecanicus (drawings); Peter Roth; and the editors (Marsman also appears under his pseudonym, J. Bernlef).

Henk Marsman, Karl Schippers and Gerard Brand co-founded Barbarber in 1958 following a visit to the Dada exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum, initially printing it in an edition of only 100 copies (Heliczer advertised it in The Wednesday Paper [item #66]).

Old central horizontal crease; staples rusty, with centre double page insert detached, o/w Very Good. Piero's own copy, though not indicated as such.
