Handmade autograph postcard from Piero Heliczer to Anita (Morris), postmarked Oxford, c. January 1960.

Approx. 138 words. The card is addressed to 18 rue Descartes and requests that Anita send copies of Dead Language publications to La Pacaudière (so that they can be "forwarded cheaper"), including "10 DEERS MOUTH (yellow book of my poems) 50 STRAIGHT FARTHEST BLOOD TOWARDS (folding pamphlet of poems angus maclise)… also send 25 long pink covers for LEMURS BY OM", adding that they "are in evidence in the big wooden case".

The intention seemed to be for the publications to be sent subsequently to c/o Michael Horovitz at 15 Manor Road, South Hinksey, near Oxford (given by Piero as the sender's address) "to sell to make loot so as to come back to paris & some time my luggage poem action is wonderful here every time jumping & taking off its pants". He signs off: "a kiss from this grün & pheasant angel hand".

Anita Morris was Jim Matisoff's girlfriend, Heliczer's friend from Harvard, who also lived at 18 rue Descartes.
