Catalogue Number One.

SF: December 1966. 4to. Stapled wrps., 16pp. Front cover illustration of the Canyon's logo, 'Exothematic Man'.

The catalogue lists 45 experimental filmmakers, some listed as pairs, and their films, several with multiple listings, providing details of each film and the rental prices, some with sale prices.

The filmmakers listed include Bruce Baillie; Larry Jordan; George & Mike Kuchar; Ronald Nameth; Loren Rehbock; Gerd Stern; Ben Van Meter; and Jud Yalkut (lists his films 'Turn Turn Turn' and 'Difraction Film', the former described by him as "A kinetic alchemy of the light and electronic works of Nicholas Schoffer, Julio Le Parc, USCO, and Nam June Paik").

The Canyon Cinema began in Bruce Baillie’s backyard in 1961 as a forum for filmmakers to share work with each other and the community, and the Canyon Cinema Co-op was founded in late 1966 as a distribution company for artist-made films, owned and operated by filmmaker members.
