NY: HarperCollins, 2012. First edition. 8vo. 444pp. + two 8pp. photo-inserts. Edited and with an introduction by Bill Morgan.

Collects letters from William Burroughs to Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, Brion Gysin, Jack Kerouac, Timothy Leary, Paul Bowles, Alexander Trocchi, Ian Sommerville, Mikey Portman, and his son, Billy Burroughs Jr., among others. The book's title originates from Brion Gysin's typewriter permutations published in "The Exterminator" in 1960 in which he replaced the words "Rub Out The Words" with the symbols % $ & and #, an experiment Burroughs later appropriated.
