The author's first novel, originally self-published in 1973 under the pseudonym The Black Tarantula in a series of six installments sent in the mail to the "six hundred friends and acquaintances" borrowed from Eleanor Antin's mailing list for her mail art work '100 Boots'. TVRT Press (The Vanishing Rotating Triangle Press) republished it in 1975, and Viper’s Tongue Books, also in New York, issued a limited edition in the same year. The collection begins with the epigraph: "Intention: I become a murderess by repeating in words the lives of other murderesses". Wrappers slightly rubbed, o/w a tight, Very Good plus copy.

Together with: an autograph postcard signed from Kathy Acker in New York to Bill Levy in Amsterdam, c. December 1982 (c. 100 words) + 6 original photographs by Susan Janssen featuring Kathy Acker at the Athenaeum Bookshop in Amsterdam, April 1984 (four b/w [12.6x17.1cm.]; two colour [10.1x14.9cm.; 10.1x12.3cm.], one of them also featuring Ben Posset, organiser of the One World Poetry Festivals.
