Contains "The Cockettes of San Francisco" by Barbara Falconer, an 18pp. front cover feature accompanied by photographs in colour and b/w by Joshua Freiwald, some of them full page (including the front cover image of Johny, aka Johnny Mac).

The most extensive and lavish article on The Cockettes to appear in any contemporary publication. It was based on the author's visits to the Cockette house in the Haight and features sympathetic profiles-cum-interviews and photo-portraits of 10 members of the troupe: Goldie Glitters, Scrumbly, Harlow and John R., Sandy, Johny ("the prettiest Cockette"), Tahara, Rumi, Hibiscus, and Big Daryl (+ photos of Sylvester, Peter Mintun, and Aaron).
