ANGELS IN MORNING.
An original leaflet announcing 'Angels in Morning' at U.C. Extension (Haight and Buchanan), San Francisco, October 31, 1973. Single sheet of white paper stock designed to fold out from a centre opening. Printed offset in red and blue. 20.1x16.5cm. (folded); 20.1x32.8cm. (unfolded). Illustrated with a decorative design on both sides, and a stylised script inside inviting guests to the costume party to "come as hoo-ever you are".
By the time of the announcement Hibiscus had already left San Francisco for New York, where he formed his own group, also known as the Angels of Light, while the San Francisco Angels continued to perform until the late '70s.
