PARADISE NOW - LIVING THEATER IN AMERIKA.
Original poster promoting Marty Topp's 1969 documentary film of The Living Theatre's tour of America in 1968. Printed offset in black on off-white paper. 39x25cm. Designed by Robert LaVigne. Illustrated with a grainy b/w photograph. States "Produced for Universal Mutant by Ira Cohen" and prints a quote by Artaud, with an oblong box in the lower part left blank for screening info.
The 40-minute film, the soundtrack for which included music by the MC5 and Sun Ra, premiered at Max's Kansas City on November 11, 1970 as part of the First New York Underground Film Festival.
