WORLD DESIGN SCIENCE DECADE.

Two tickets for the World Design Science Decade Think-In held at the London School of Economics, July 17-18, 1967.

Printed on blue and grey paper respectively, each measuring approx. 8x21cm.

The World Design Science Decade was inaugurated by Buckminster Fuller and John McHale in 1965 at the meeting of the International Union of Architects in Paris, which was, Fuller stated, devoted to "applying the principles of science to solving the problems of humanity". The 'Think-In', a variation on Marshall McLuhan's idea of the 'Teach-In', coincided with the six-month-long Expo 67 in Montreal, for which Fuller designed a giant geodesic dome. It's unclear if Fuller was in attendance for the event in London, but it seems possible since he was lecturing in Europe at the time.

Old central vertical creases, o/w Near Fine.
