Ed. Monica Pidgeon. Contents include an extensively illustrated 23pp. guide to inflatables compiled by five Architectural Association students, ranging from industrial objects (car tyres, gas containers, warehouses) to hoverplanes, experimental domes, and wearable 'suitaloons', and featuring designs by Frei Otto, Piers Gough, Victor Lundy, Frankenstein Group, and Walter Bird.

Also includes a manifesto statement by members of Utopie's editorial group, and 'La Pneumatique', a separate 5pp. section devoted to projects by three members of Utopie - Jean Aubert, Jean-Paul Jungmann, and Antoine Stinco - the organisers of 'Structures Gonflables', an installation of inflatables that opened in Paris in March 1968.

Further coverage of inflatables appears in the 'Design' section of the magazine, featuring work by Quasar Kahn, François and Bernard Baschet, and Archizoom.
