"Building a Dome Home" (2pp.) in COLLAGE Vol. 1, #1 (NY: 1970).

Newspaper format. 16pp. (incl. cover). Beckman, a self-described "fanatical sphericist", describes how he went about constructing his own geodesic dome (location not stated, but probably Bolinas, California), and recommends Steve Baer's 'Dome Cookbook' and Dyna-Strux of Arizona.

Also: Heathcote Williams ("Love is Psychic Capitalism"); an interview with Allen Jones (1pp.); Keith Arnatt's TV project, "Self Burial" (1pp.); half-page ad. for Jerry Rubin's 'Do It!'; full-page extract from Allan Kaprow's 'Calendar of Happenings'; large ad. for Suck; cartoons; more.

Both the origins of Collage and whether or not there were further issues is unclear, but it bears the hallmarks of John Wilcock, whose Other Scenes is given a half-page ad. A statement on the back cover reads: "The purpose of Collage is to stimulate creativity; it is a picture paper created by its readers… Collage welcomes calligraphy, photographs, letters, comic strips, cartoons, visual poetry, film clips, newspaper clips, old magazines, ferry tickets, documents, forged credentials and undiscovered works of genius. For the next four issues send $1 to Box 8, Village P.O., New York 10014. U.S.A.".
