The premiere issue of this counterculture magazine devoted to hippie fashion and lifestyle. Published by Baron Wolman (the editorial office was shared with Rolling Stone), and featuring his front cover photograph of Mimi Fariña and Milan Melvin (who had married two years earlier in Big Sur).

Contents include a street fashion photo-feature; an interview by Wolman with early tie-dye artist Maureen Mubeem (6pp.); Betsey Johnson (4pp.); boots (3pp.); fashion illustrations by Albert Elia; the first American publication of James Sallis' first science fiction story, "Kazoo"; ads. (including Granny Takes A Trip in London and NYC); more.

Tiny nick to right edge of front cover, o/w Very Good. Rags, which ran to thirteen issues, was not widely distributed at the time and lasted only a year.
