Wavy's account of the travelling hippie commune, this copy SIGNED by him and embellished with his trademark Hopi Indian spiral on the title page: "good luck always Wavy G Hugh Romney vice versa". Hugh Romney adopted his clown alter ego, Wavy Gravy, following repeated arrests and beatings at antiwar rallies, realising that "the police didn't want to hit me any more" because "clowns are safe!" ('Something Good For A Change', p.126). A 9pp. section at the rear of the book reproduces contemporary press coverage of the Hog Farm, and a final 2pp. "Literary Pit Stop" lists 50 favoured publications, from René Daumal's 'Mount Analogue' to 'Earth House Hold' by Gary Snyder.

Very Near Fine.
