A three-volume glossy catalogue from a geodesic dome manufacturing company based east of Los Angeles, allowing prospective buyers to choose and customise their house from a range of specifications, which, once ordered, arrived in kit form in a crate: "An environment where the design possibilities are without end. Reduced to its simplest terms, a Monterey Dome is geometry transformed into poetry."
The catalogue prints glossy colour photographs of various domes' interiors and exteriors, and promotes their energy saving qualities and simplicity of construction, concluding with an "Ask Richard Robinson…" feature of FAQs. The book of plans "contains page after page of well-designed floor plans that maximize the liveability of your new Monterey Dome", complete with bound-in ordering form, alongside testimonies from and photographs of satisfied customers; the price list provides more detailed descriptions of the construction parts, and advertises drawing blueprints and an assembly manual.
