A collection of Sinclair's poems "for the new music & the new musicians", named after Ornette Coleman's album of 1960, and the third title in the Workshop Books series from the Artists' Workshop Press (Sinclair later described the Artists' Workshop, co-founded by him in November 1964 with Robin Eichele, George Tysh and Jim Semark, "as a neo-beatnik self-determination center for musicians, poets, photographers, painters, film-makers, dope friends and lovers of all kinds" [Guitar Army, p.57]).

Lower right corner and edges damp-stained, with a vertical stain to lower wrapper, o/w Very Good. Printed by John Sinclair and Magdalene Arndt in an edition of 500 copies. Scarce with a contemporary inscription.
