Collects over 100 works on paper by Greenaway, many of them in colour, spanning a period of about 20 years, including map-paintings for 'A Walk Through H' and drawings for 'The Draughtsman's Contract' and 'Drowning by Numbers' used in the construction of the films.
In his introduction Greenaway writes that "This collection of paintings, collages and drawings represents a small part of the speculative investigation that, for me, is carried on across a wide front in collaboration with the manufacture of films."
