Contains a chapter describing the profound effect LSD commonly has on artists in regards to their visual perceptions of colour and objects, with Grof noting that such usage often evolved into an expanded understanding of the art and artists around them: “Many individuals experiencing such changes report that their perception changed in the direction of Seurat’s or Van Gogh’s paintings and that the LSD session helped them gain deep insight in the world of these painters, empathize with them, and understand their art.”
