The introduction outlines a method of studying the mechanism of bloodbrainvolume and instructs the reader to assume “the position of Bauer-on the floor with knees and elbows on cushions - read aloud the ‘Text Book of Brainbloodvolume’ whilst copying it by hand ten times on paper equal in size to this page” (as portrayed on the book’s front cover), pausing every 20 minutes for two minutes. The writers of “the three most beautiful manuscripts” were promised the publication of “anything they write... for one year” by F.I.T.
