The 'Freedom for Timothy Leary' issue, entirely devoted to Leary’s situation as an exile in Switzerland, and the penultimate number of the magazine edited and published by the psychoanalyst, art dealer, writer and Auschwitz survivor, Carl Laszlo between 1958 and 1977.
Lge. 4to. Stapled wrps., (36pp.), with two photo-lithograph portraits of Leary by Günter Gritzner loosely inserted, as issued. Texts in German and English. Illustrated with photographs and drawings throughout, including artworks by Mati Klarwein and the French Surrealist painter, Yves Laloy.
Contents include a text by Allen Ginsberg, reprints from the underground press, an extract from ‘El Perfecto’, and three texts by Leary in German translation and one in English (“Starseed”).
Wrappers split along lower half of spine; short tear and small price label to upper wrapper; o/w Very Good.
