The first part is an autobiographical love story of “sexual chemistry”; the second is pure psychedelic biochemistry, with in-depth analysis and evaluations of scores of psychoactive drugs based on the late Alexander Shulgin’s countless experiments (he had his first psychedelic experience in 1960, and in 1976 became the first person to test MDMA [on himself]).
