A compendium of clippings from the popular and scientific press from 1926 on, replete with comics and cartoons, diagrams and photographs. The author, under the pseudonym ‘Stone Mountain’, was the publisher of the East Village Other, which had printed Timothy Leary’s article “Deal for Real” in 1969, appearing for the first time here in book form. Also reproduced are several photo-collages of Leary, including one of him at John and Yoko’s Bed-In.
Allen Ginsberg’s article from The Atlantic Monthly (November 1966), “The Great Marijuana Hoax”, is also printed in full, as well as a blurb by him on the back cover.
