The concert, which featured compositions by Bo Nilsson, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Henri Pousseur and Bengt Hambraeus, included the world premiere of Stockhausen’s “Klavierstück XI”, performed in two versions. Tudor gave numerous recitals at the Carl Fischer Concert Hall throughout the 1950s, including several premieres, among them the first New York performance of John Cage’s “4 Minutes 33 Seconds” on April 14, 1954.
