The Dutch band Carlsberg are listed as support, though it’s unclear if the concert actually took place since no record of it can be found (Cale played a number of concerts at the club between 1975 and 2018). Martin Kaye, who never signed his designs, was the Paradiso’s longest serving in-house designer and screen printer and helped define the club’s image. In this poster he portrays Cale wearing a hockey mask, based on Michael Beal’s cover photograph for his 1977 album, “Guts”.
