He continues with a mention of “Leary singing [to the FBI] according to police propaganda may be true but so far (as of today) he’s in protective custody… and has no lawyer”, and writes “I don’t know when I’ll get to Europe again - lots to do here, working still with Chögyam Trungpa, maybe next summer help found a small tantric-style arts college with him in Boulder, Colo”. The postcard itself, published by the Cold Mountain Press, prints Ginsberg’s poem “New York Blues”, which he has dated “Dec 71” and initialled. Two edge tears and damp stain along lower edge; Fair only.
