SOME/THING #1-4/5 (all published).

NY: Hawk’s Well Press, Spring 1965-Summer 1968). 8vo. Wrps., 64pp.-120pp. Ed. David Antin and Jerome Rothenberg.

A complete set of this important avant-garde little magazine, featuring Andy Warhol’s cover art for the third issue (Winter 1966), a sheet of 12 real glue-backed stamps printing the pro-Vietnam war slogan ‘BOMB HANOI!’ as a series of lapel buttons or wall stickers, his response to David Antin’s request that he should take one of the American warmongers’ “idiot slogans and fuck it up any way he likes for our cover”. Antin later recalled that when he gave Allen Ginsberg his copy “Allen’s jaw dropped and he said ‘What’s this?’. Then he turned it over, saw his name on the back and said, ‘It’s all right, I'm in it’.”
