Lists 19 exhibitors, with a brief list of the works shown, including Bob Cobbing (then working at Better Books and whose typescript the flyer reproduces); Barry Flanagan (one of his earliest sculptures, ‘aaing j gni aa’, featured in the show, and remained for a time afterwards so that it could be shown together with John Sharkey’s ‘Magic Poem’); Bruce Lacey (his ‘Wartime Marriage’ assemblage); John Latham (‘Skoob Tower’ and ‘Tailed Object’); Miles (the bookshop’s manager); Jeff Nuttall (who first joined Group H in 1963; in “Bomb Culture” he wrote that “The average Group H exhibition looks something like a cross between a carousel and a concentration camp” [p.159] ); Jennifer Pike; Franciszka Themerson; Criton Tomazos; Islwyn Watkins; and Gabi Weissmann.

Organised less than a month after the International Poetry Incarnation at the Royal Albert Hall, the exhibition was one of many countercultural events, lectures, readings and happenings held at Better Books between 1964 and 1967, many of them instigated by Cobbing.
