Both the flyer and the programme list films by Jacques Tourneur, Roger Corman and James Whale, among others, with an additional announcement of the Blue Movie Festival, beginning March 21st. In London’s Arts Labs (p.148, illus.), David Curtis writes of how the programme was “a last bid to make money”, and that the Blue Movie Festival, which immediately preceded the New Arts Lab’s closure, was “perhaps a cynical response to the Arts Council’s refusal to bail us out.”
