A monograph by the art critic and writer Guy Brett, who was involved with David Medalla in the establishment of the Centre for Advanced Creative Study/Signals Gallery in 1964, and later, following the 1973 Chilean coup d'état, co-founded the group Artists for Democracy (AFD) with Medalla, John Dugger (a core member of The Exploding Galaxy), and the Chilean poet and artist, Cecilia Vicuña.
Includes a partial list of performances by Medalla (1967-70 and 1976-94), a biographical synopsis (3pp.), and a bibliography.
