Heathcote Williams (“representing not only Wales and the republic of Notting Hill, but the continuing cosmic revolution”) contributes “War Poem” and “God”.
The other poet-performers are John Cooper Clarke; Fran Landesman; Miles Davis Landesman; James Berry; Attila The Stockbroker; Seething Wells; Liz Lochhead; Elizabeth Smart; David Henderson; Michael Horovitz; and Roger McGough.
The event lasted three days and followed the first Poetry Olympics, founded in 1980 by Horovitz in response to Thatcher’s proposed boycott of the Olympic Games in Moscow.
