World Premiere of The Alien Brain.

In his book “Wreckers of Civilisation”, Simon Ford describes the work as “the first of COUM’s multi-media ‘happenings’ utilising techniques for all the senses, from flashing lights for the eyes to taped noises for the ears.” The COUM house at 8-9 Prince Street in Hull also became known as the Alien Brain during this period.
