i) Publicity card for an early production of Sprinkle’s “One Woman Show and Tell”, directed by Emilio Cubeiro at Dominique’s Harmony Burlesque Theater, NYC, June 1989, “Featuring Annie’s Greatest Performance Hits” (Cubeiro was the co-founder of The International Theatre of Poetry and Pain with Lydia Lunch). Illustrated on one side with Sprinkle’s Flashing Finger Puppet card. Stamped and postmarked New York May 30th, 1989 (though there is no addressee). The card suggests “Bring your own camera - all forms of exploitation are welcome”. Short lower left corner crease, o/w Very Good.

ii) a photocopy of a 2pp. article by Cliff Schwartz from New York Native (a biweekly gay newspaper) titled “Sex Heals: Performance Artist/Sex Worker Annie Sprinkle Discusses the Evolution of Post Porn Modernism”. Contains a review of Sprinkle’s show at Dominique’s Harmony Theater and an in-depth interview in which she discusses her life and work (‘Sex Heals’ was the final part of the show, during which she performed a “20-minute Shamanistic dance that focuses on her sex Chakra”). Two old mailing folds.

iii) Photographic publicity card for the production directed by Emilio Cubeiro at The Kitchen, NYC, January 1990, with mailing label to verso addressed to “Billy Levy” in Amsterdam, postmarked December 16th, 1989. Sprinkle has decorated the Eric Kroll photograph of her with a multi-coloured glittery X, an ‘Ecstatic New Year’ rubber stamp, SIGNED it in red ink (“Annie”) and added a small heart shape drawing. Small pinhole to centre upper edge, o/w Very Good plus.

iv) Programme for the production at The Kitchen, NYC, January 1990. 8vo. Three duplicated sheets, centrally folded to make 8pp., with a pink condom in sealed wrapper attached to back cover (“Learn to love latex”). Illustrated. Centrespread prints Veronica Vera’s “Post Porn Modernist Manifesto”; back cover prints “Annie Sprinkle’s Sex Guidelines for the 90s”. Inscribed by Sprinkle in purple ink on the front cover: “Coming soon to a theater near you!” Old central vertical crease, o/w Near Fine.

v) Large double-sided flyer announcing “The Art Top hit from New York Post Porn Modernist”, directed by Willem de Ridder at De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam, April (1990). Illustrated with a b/w photograph of Annie Sprinkle by Eric Kroll, with dual Dutch/English text to verso. 29.5x18.5cm. The show ran for five nights and was staged in Amsterdam’s oldest theatre (sound was provided by Andrew McKenzie of The Hafler Trio). Slight wear to right edge, o/w Very Good.
