Burroughs contributes “Fluck You Fluck You Fluck You”, a three-column style layout dated March 31, 1964, in Tangier.

The God issue, the eleventh of thirteen in the series of Fuck You mimeo magazines started by Sanders in February 1962 and published irregularly until June 1965, and the only issue to include work by Burroughs.

As Sanders later described it, the “back-page image featured glyphs of my current passions: freedom to use magic mushrooms, hookahs, the Egyptian scarab, pot, the Lawrencian Boat of Death, the peace sign, spurting dongs, hypodermic needles, and Peace Eye and its Wayward Tongue” ("Fug You". Da Capo Press, 2011, p.98).

As well as Burroughs’ contribution, the issue features work by, among others: Charles Olson; Allen Ginsberg; John Wieners; Robert Duncan; Carl Solomon; Harry Fainlight; Robert Kelly; Gregory Corso; Philip Whalen; Michael McClure; Gary Snyder; Robert Creeley; Judith Malina; Paul Blackburn; Philip Lamantia; and Norman Mailer.

It also included a “Fuck You Position Paper’, that, as its author Sanders explains in “Fug You”, featured advice from Allen Ginsberg and “made proposals regarding the crackdown by various New York City bureaucracies on underground movies, poetry readings in coffeehouses, and public performances.”

Small lower left corner loss to back cover, o/w a Very Good copy of this fragile item, “printed, published, & edited by Ed Sanders at a secret lovefare bunker in the lower east side”.
