APO-33: Bulletin, A Metabolic Regulator.
SF: Beach Books, Texts & Documents, 1966. First edition thus (following the 1965 Fuck You Press edition of “10 or 20 copies”). Consists of a photo-offset reproduction of Burroughs’ manuscript and scrapbook pages, featuring the three-column cut-up style.
Near Fine.
Together with: an autograph postcard signed from Claude Pélieu in San Francisco to the co-editor of The Insect Trust Gazette, Bill Levy, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, c. 1966. Pélieu writes “APO-33 & Carl S ok” (Beach Books published Carl Solomon’s “Mishaps, Perhaps” around the same time as “APO-33”), adding “Good news from W.S. Burroughs” (in a letter dated November 10, 1966 Burroughs had written to Pélieu telling him that “APO-33 is an excellent job many thanks and let us hope it has some effect”).
