A one-shot magazine named by Miles using the Dada name-finding technique with Claude Pélieu and Mary Beach when he pointed randomly at the El Quijote’s menu at the Hotel Chelsea bar. Later, on December 4, 1969, Burroughs wrote to Beach and Pélieu congratulating them on their publication: “Fruit Cup very good, a nice battery of writers and materials.”
