Bookseller’s catalogue, compiled by Ralph Cook, containing 360 items by and about Burroughs, illustrated with photographs: “This catalogue lists what is probably the most comprehensive collection of works by and about William Burroughs ever to be assembled and offered for sale in the United States.”
These included “cut-up typescripts, news clippings, an 8-page holograph partial manuscript of The Naked Lunch, and ephemeral items.” The foreword prints a revised version of Burroughs’ essay on the cut-up technique, “The Future of the Novel”, read by him at the 1962 Edinburgh Writers Conference.
