Prints an uncredited text by Billy Klüver and Robert Rauschenberg outlining the purpose of the not-for-profit organisation they co-founded with Fred Waldhauer and Robert Whitman in New York in 1966.

Consisting of three sentences, the statement summarises their vision of E.A.T. as a catalyst to stimulate the involvement of industry and technology with the arts, to “Eliminate the separation of the individual from technological change and expand and enrich technology to give the individual variety, pleasure and avenues for exploration and involvement in contemporary life.”
